The Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) has released the RFT for their anticipated Strategic Support Contract (SSC). DASA intends to subsume the many short term contracts into a single, long term arrangement providing greater efficiencies, certainty and enhanced relationship with industry. The Initial Contract Term will be 5 years with 5 performance based extension options up to a total of 10 years.
DASA will be holding an industry briefing at 1pm on Friday, 9th August. Details on how to register for the industry briefing are available in the Conditions of Tender and require a Deed of Confidentiality and Fidelity to be signed by 1pm, Wednesday 7th August.
DASA is seeking a single legal entity to provide, or manage the provision of, the full scope of services, including where appropriate, subcontractors.
The High-Level scope is categorised to these areas:
• Strategic Relationship,
• Contract Management,
• Recurring tasking,
• Ad-hoc tasking,
• Embedded Specialist Staff, and
• Transition.
The RFT has been prepared using the ASDEFCON (Complex Services) template with material amendments. Responses are due at 4pm, 26 September 2024.
