Pre-submission review

As specialists in tenders and proposals, we have the experience and expertise to advise on what a high-scoring and winning tender looks like.

A pre-submission consultation provides you with an evaluation, scoring your response through the eyes of the evaluator. This involves a detailed analysis of requirements to map the response to ensure a high score. We provide feedback with guidance and instructions to improve the response to submission-ready quality. 

The review covers six distinct categories, providing a clear view on the strengths and weaknesses of your response, so you can pitch with confidence.

Win strategies

Tendup brings a strategic approach to response development. Our win strategy sessions are facilitated through a workshop to tap into your team’s collective knowledge to assess how your bid will sit in the competitive landscape. We work through a mini-SWOT to identify how you can best position for success.

These outputs provide the framework for an actionable response strategy. With structured themes and a set of key messages to be woven throughout the response, you can work from a strong baseline position. This also builds a solid foundation for the executive summary and your engagement communications with the response team.

End-to-end bid support

01 – Proposal management

Our project management capability takes carriage of proposal artefacts from beginning to end. We support each client to ensure that bid management complements your existing processes and team capability.

We start with a detailed analysis to provide a defined information architecture to ensure a compliant response. We then produce a set of templates and manage the proposal response. Starting with win themes, we work with all parties (including multi-vendor consortiums and partnerships) to work through a collaborative response process that includes rolling reviews. We then provide quality assurance review and document production to ensure a polished response.

Our proposal team works side-by-side with clients every step of the way on a bid or tender, bringing teams together for an agile and effective response process.

02 – Writing and editing

We have an experienced team of writers with experience across a broad range of industries.

03 – Production

While many clients have in-house or external resources for design services, we find that the lead time on tenders and bids often doesn’t allow for the full design process. We offer a print-ready production service, finessing the finished response document to a point of submission-readiness.

We begin by producing on-brand, compliant templates that are ordered into a clear information architecture to cater to the detailed and complex information that goes into a tender response.

In many cases, tenders and bids require specific graphics and images to support the narrative and elevate the presentation of the response. We find that complex conceptual diagrams are best delivered visually to support key messages. Our proposal managers work with your team to guide the creation of bid-specific graphics and collateral.

Short timeframes and looming deadlines can hijack even the most talented bid respondents. The reality is, there are key bid artefacts that you can establish prior to responding to a tender. By assembling a small library of content, you are prepared for any tender or proposal that comes your way.
